DO LA MANCHA

LOCATION: In the southern plateau in the provinces of Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca and Toledo. It is the largest wine region in Spain and the world.

CLIMATE: 

The temperatures are extreme due to its continental climate, with temperatures ranging between 40/45 ° C in summer and -10 / 12ºC in winter. Dryness is one of its most distinct characteristics, rainfall is fairly low and the annual average is around 375 mm.

SOIL:

The terrain is flat and the vineyards are situated at 700 meters above the sea level. The soils are sandy composition, limestone and clay.

GRAPE VARIETIES:

WHITE: Airen, Macabeo , Pardilla, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo, Moscatel de Grano Menudo, Gewürztraminer, Parellada, Pedro Ximenez, Riesling and Torrontes.

RED: Cencibel, Garnacha, Moravia, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Bobal, Cabernet Franc, Graciano, Malbec, Mencia, , Monastrell and  Pinot Noir.
