LOCATION: Utiel-Requena is located within the province of Valencia (Spain). It is located 70 km from the Mediterranean Sea and the altitude is between 600 and 900 metres.

With an area of ​​34,312 hectares, is the largest and most homogeneous of Valencia vineyard. It has 95 wineries and 5,604 grape growers covered by the Designation of Origin.

The region includes nine municipalities: Caudete, Camporrobles, Fuenterrobles, Requena, Siete Aguas, Sinarcas Utiel, Venta del Moro and Villargordo del Cabriel.


The land and climate, with Mediterranean caracteristics, but with continental influences, make the Utiel-Requena wines special, especially red and rosé wines made ​​from Bobal variety.


The soils are dark in colour with a high lime content, permeable and poor in organic matter.


WHITE: Tardana, Macabeo, Merseguera, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Parellada, Verdejo and Moscatel de grano menudo.

RED: Bobal, Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta, Garnacha Tintorera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mertlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Petit verdot and Cabernet Franc.
